Welcome to StoryShop!

Orson uses the magic of storytelling to bring you closer to others and foster more meaningful connections!

We use a series of carefully crafted questions designed to help you share your best memories, stories, and messages. The video responses from all collaborators are automatically edited into professional-quality videos that celebrate and preserve important life events, memories, and stories.

Orson - Orson is the parent company of StoryShop and is the technology behind StoryShop’s video storytelling features.

StoryStrip - StoryStrips™ are the blueprints for each unique video episode. Our team of professional TV producers and filmmakers custom craft each StoryStrip using a combination of interview questions (tested with real people), graphics, user customization, and music that beautifully integrate your stories into an emotional and entertaining video. StoryStrips automate the storytelling process so that anyone, anywhere can share their stories with the world without a production crew.

Showrunner - The person managing the episode. The Showrunner role is automatically assigned to the purchaser of the episode. They have the ability to setup, manage, edit, and share the episode.

Collaborator - Anyone participating in the episode. Each collaborator will be asked to complete an interview.

Screening - The preview of an episode. During the screening phase, Showrunner can review the episode and make changes.

How does it work?

Showrunners

  1. Set up - Customize the name of your episode, who should be part of it, and when you want it completed.
  2. Interview - Participants complete their interview. When that’s done, the magic will start and we’ll put it all together.
  3. Review - We will give you an opportunity to look over the episode before it’s finalized. You’ll be able to remove any responses you don’t like and even request new responses.
  4. Share - Share the link to your finished episode.

Collaborators

  1. Answer some questions - Our director will ask you a series of questions, and for each question you’ll be asked to record a video response
  2. Review - At the end of the interview we’ll give you another chance to re-rerecord anything you don’t love
  3. Submit - Your interview and anyone else who played a part will be featured in the final episode
