Screen Your Episode

What does screening mean?

Think of this as your preview of the final episode. During screening you’ll watch your episode and have the opportunity to make changes before finalizing your episode. Orson will send you a message when your episode is ready to screened.

Click “Screen Episode” button to watch your video.

If you are happy with your video as-is, you can finalize it by clicking “Approve for Release!” in the bottom right.

Note: Once to approve your video, you can no longer make any modifications to it.

If you’d like to make changes to your video, click the “Edit” button in bottom left corner of your screen.

Editing your video

You can modify any collaborator-submitted content in your video. If there’s a particular answer clip or media you don’t like, you have a few options:

  1. Exclude - This will remove this users answer clip or media for this question from the final video.

  1. Re-take - This will send the user a request to re-record their responses to however many questions you select. To ask a user to retake one or more of their responses, follow the steps below:
  • Select the question you want the user to re-record

  • Click “Re-Take” next to the appropriate user

  • Select the question(s) you’d like them to redo and click confirm .

  • You’ll notice these responses will be marked in red.

Once you are happy with your edits click the “Update Episode” button at the bottom of the page. Users will be sent a new link to re-record their answers for the questions you selected.

Clicking "Update Episode" will re-direct you to the episode status page. Collaborators that need to re-record answers will show a status of “Incomplete - In Progress.”
